  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage food costs and inventory
  • Make sure the work area and kitchen equipment are clean and always organized
  • Make sure that hot food is served hot and cold food served cold, maintaining food safety standards
  • Keeping the food coolers organized and clean
  • Monitoring food stock and placing orders to ensure the kitchen has the necessary ingredients on hand
  • Checking in deliveries and putting away stock when and after it arrives
  • Checking the buffet temperatures
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and checking food and ingredients for freshness
  • Create prep lists for the kitchen
  • Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy
  • All other duties as assigned
