Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in upscale hotels, fine-dining restaurants, country clubs, or high-end senior living communities
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to culinary excellence
  • Reliable and able to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior living preferred
  • Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required
  • Great organizational skills a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required
  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
  • Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
  • Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal service
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
