The Cook 3 position is a part-time role based at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, paying $17.00 per hour. This role requires an experienced cook who can demonstrate their culinary skills and take on a leadership role within the kitchen team. As a Cook 3, you will collaborate closely with management, assisting in menu planning, ensuring food quality standards, training kitchen staff, and operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. The position demands adherence to health codes and sanitation regulations while managing inventory, labor, and overhead costs carefully.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills
  • ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving twisting, bending, squatting
  • ability to stand and walk for the full shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, whip foods and operate kitchen equipment
  • ability to work in variable temperatures
  • no high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Review menus and customer orders to determine the type and quantities of food to be prepared
  • comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
  • ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
  • store food correctly
  • maintain the freshness and quality of all menu items
  • package all products to proper specifications
  • keep the workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • maintain the kitchen and storage facilities in a sanitary condition
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • conduct end-of-day inventory in accordance with guidelines
