Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification as required by State or County
Ability to read and communicate in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of safe food handling practices
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Willingness to work part-time, 24 hours per week
Capability to lift and move heavy items, and stand for long periods
Tolerance for working in varying temperature conditions and using cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day of work
Demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Understanding and application of safe food handling techniques
Ability to prioritize workflow, use timelines, and meet deadlines
Preferred experience providing exceptional customer service
Preferred knowledge of preparing food for modified diets
Preferred ability to utilize commercial cooking equipment

Job Duties

Prepare and cook food following recipes and instructions
Serve customers in various venues including catering, retail, and patient care
Maintain an organized and sanitary working environment
Manage proper quantities of production with appropriate product rotation
Deliver patient meals and perform cashiering duties as needed
Stock supplies and operate automatic and manual ware-washing machines
Interact effectively with customers and team members
