Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of line cook experience or formal training
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Food Handlers Permit or willingness to obtain one
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to report unsafe or unsanitary conditions promptly
  • Basic computer and telephone operation skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Two years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training
  • Ability to work varying hours including weekends and holidays
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
  • Ability to use telephone and computer for communication and information access

Job Duties

  • Maintain standards set by the Executive Chef
  • Maintain production schedules to ensure timely service and quality product
  • Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices
  • Oversee that deliveries from purveyors coincide with purchase orders
  • Report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in kitchen or dining room
  • Work varying hours including weekends and holidays
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and reaching as required
