Job Description

At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, a patient-centered care facility located in a less stressful hospital environment, we are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team. From preparing foods according to recipes to maintaining high sanitation standards, this role plays a crucial part in our operations. Our services include trauma care, heart and vascular services, emergency care, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.

Job Requirements

Required: Possesses good cooking skills with restaurant or institutional background
Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a consistent positive demeanor
Works well with others
Ability to read and write
Ability to calculate amounts of ingredients when adjusting recipes
Ability to interpret written instructions and follow through with oral instructions
Completes Food Services Sanitation class or in-service. Preferred: Previous food service and major equipment operation experience
Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
