As a family-owned company with over 100 years of history, Delaware North prides itself on creating welcoming, inclusive workplaces that encourage growth, development, and the pursuit of culinary excellence. The company emphasizes a strong team culture where each employee is considered part of a global legacy. With its diverse operations spanning sports arenas, national parks, casinos, hotels, and retail, Delaware North offers unique career growth opportunities and invests deeply in its employees' professional and personal development.
The seasonal Cook position at Delaware North Sportservice at Truist Park offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about food preparation and teamwork. This role is seasonal, specifically tailored to the baseball season from March through October, with potential extensions during playoff schedules. In this role, you will follow detailed recipes, ensure proper food portioning, and maintain food safety standards, contributing directly to the overall operational success of the kitchen team. Delaware North is committed to providing an inclusive, supportive workplace with a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote work-life balance and employee well-being. Benefits include weekly pay, flexible work schedules, employee discounts, training and development opportunities, and eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or certification reimbursements.
The Cook role is physically active, requiring standing and walking throughout shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and operating kitchen equipment. Candidates should have at least one year of back-of-house foodservice experience, be able to read and interpret prep sheets and recipes, and possess basic math skills.
