Job Description
Kessler Hospitality is renowned for its portfolio of artistically inspired boutique hotels that present unique designs, luxurious accommodations, and an enriching ambiance backed by intuitive service. This distinguished hospitality group operates properties across various locations including Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Each hotel within Kessler Hospitality’s collection embodies a distinctive character, showcasing exquisite art, music, and cultural influences thoughtfully integrated to create approachable yet unforgettable experiences. Their properties range from cutting-edge downtown icons to premier luxury lodges, entertainment destinations, and elite ski lodges, all crafted to cater to individualist travelers appreciating bold style and redefined Bohemian luxury. Notably, Kessler Hospitality was the founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, introducing seven Autograph Collection branded hotels that remain famous for their originality and stylish character tailored for discerning guests seeking unique travel experiences.
The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina, epitomizes Kessler Hospitality’s commitment to luxury and cultural immersion. Perched atop the iconic falls of the Reedy River, this AAA Four Diamond boutique lodge offers guests an intimate way to connect with the region’s natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere. Whether guests come seeking adventure, relaxation at the onsite spa, or a luxurious retreat, the lodge appeals through stunning views, immersive art collections, and earth-inspired design elements found throughout the property. From the floor-to-ceiling windows that illuminate every corner to carefully curated details like chandeliers and the wine room, the Grand Bohemian Lodge creates an environment that enlivens the senses and offers a rejuvenating escape. Guests can unwind at the outdoor bar and restaurant overlooking the river or enjoy Greenville’s charm from the manicured event lawn. Recreational facilities such as the fitness center, hiking trails, and art gallery further enrich the guest experience.
As a Cook at Kessler Hospitality’s Grand Bohemian Lodge, your role is pivotal in delivering the culinary excellence that defines the brand. Responsible for preparing all food items across the hotel's Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets, you will follow standardized recipes and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role not only involves food preparation but also ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas to minimize waste and optimize cost-to-production ratios. The Cook plays an essential part in supporting meal services, from restaurant openings through banquet preparations, adhering to the hotel's exacting standards and enhancing the overall guest experience.
In this hands-on position, you will undertake preparation and display of buffet food items, recognize quality standards of fresh products, and maintain a sanitary environment while practicing safe work habits. The Cook must be versatile—supporting various kitchen stations as needed, operating kitchen equipment properly, and following all company and health department regulations. This dynamic role demands attention to detail, culinary proficiency across multiple cooking techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service in a luxury boutique hotel setting. Through dedication and professionalism, you will contribute directly to the hospitality excellence that makes Kessler Hospitality an admired name in boutique lodging and fine dining.
