Job Description

Trilogy at Tehaleh is an exclusive, private resort-style community nestled in the scenic beauty of Bonney Lake, Washington, just a picturesque drive south from Seattle. The centerpiece of this community is the Seven Summits Lodge, a premier clubhouse designed with the most discerning members in mind. Surrounded by protected forest preserves and offering awe-inspiring views of Mount Rainier, this sophisticated venue combines luxury amenities with a tranquil natural environment. Members can enjoy dedicated spaces for dining, relaxation, fitness, games, and social gatherings, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that epitomizes resort-lifestyle living. Trilogy at Tehaleh stands out as a premier destination for individuals seeking a blend of comfort, community, and exceptional service.

The current opportunity invites candidates to join Trilogy at Tehaleh as a Cook 2, a vital role within the Food & Beverage Team. This part-time position offers an hourly pay range of $21.00 to $22.00 and focuses on delivering high-quality food preparation, cooking, and serving services to members and guests. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, this role demands mastery of kitchen stations, adherence to cleanliness standards, and contribution to an exceptional dining experience. The position is tailored for individuals passionate about culinary arts and committed to maintaining superior service standards in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

A Cook 2 at Trilogy is responsible for managing a specific kitchen station and must possess thorough knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques. This includes washing, cutting, and shredding fresh produce, mixing ingredients according to recipes, and utilizing a variety of cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming. Attention to detail is critical, encompassing the tasting and visual inspection of dishes to ensure quality and consistency. The role further entails portioning, garnishing, and plating meals attractively to meet guest expectations.

The work environment balances indoor kitchen operations with occasional outdoor event setups, requiring adaptability to different settings and weather conditions. Working closely with a team, the Cook 2 must be highly customer-oriented, responsive, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork and leadership qualities, upholds core values like honesty, respect, and competitive spirit, and thrives in a setting that values continuous improvement. Additionally, this position offers the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth within a prestigious community club setting.

Overall, this position is perfect for motivated culinary professionals seeking to contribute their skills in a unique resort community environment, where quality, service excellence, and member satisfaction are paramount. The part-time schedule requires availability Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner shifts, with up to 30 hours per week, providing flexibility alongside competitive compensation and benefits for eligible team members.
