Over the years, Panda has expanded significantly and currently operates close to 2,800 locations worldwide, making it the largest family-owned Asian dining brand in America. The company is widely recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, embracing family values, and fostering a supportive environment for its employees. Panda's mission centers on inspiring its team members to better their lives, while also making meaningful impacts in the communities where they operate. The organizational culture at Panda emphasizes teamwork, respect, and growth opportunities, making it a desirable place to build a career in the hospitality industry.

The role of Panda Cook is pivotal within the organization, serving as both a leader and an essential contributor to the success of each restaurant location. As a Cook at Panda, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and development. This role places you at the heart of the kitchen where you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with passion, sustaining the highest standards of food quality, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Beyond cooking, Associates in this role will also help guide and train kitchen team members, supporting an efficient and vibrant back-of-house operation.

The position requires a commitment to excellence, precision, and an ability to thrive under pressure, as the kitchen is typically a busy and sometimes challenging setting. Associates will perform critical tasks including food preparation according to company recipes, managing kitchen workflow, and ensuring compliance with all local and municipal food safety requirements. Panda values associates who bring enthusiasm and pride to their work, viewing the kitchen team as the heart and soul of their restaurants. Employment at Panda comes with a chance to be part of a large, family-like team that is passionate about Asian cuisine and exceptional service.

In addition to a supportive work culture, Panda offers attractive benefits and competitive pay designed to reward hard work and dedication. Flexible scheduling options help associates balance their lives, while paid training ensures every team member is fully equipped for success. The company also fosters career advancement with ongoing leadership development and clear pathways to management roles. Full-time associates can access comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits, along with retirement savings plans and various leave options.

Panda Restaurant Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. The organization complies fully with ADA regulations and provides reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process to ensure all applicants can participate equitably. If you are passionate about cooking, interested in working within a vibrant team environment, and seeking a career opportunity with a reputable and growing company, the Panda Cook role offers a fulfilling path where your skills and contributions are valued and rewarded.
