We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. This position is vital as it directly influences the quality of the food served and the overall dining experience. The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging food products according to established operational and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on individual who can efficiently operate various kitchen stations, including the dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food preparation stations. The successful candidate must adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety and workplace cleanliness.

The Cook will perform essential tasks such as regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and managing used grease disposal. The ability to maintain these operational standards consistently is crucial to the role.

This position reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and operates on a nonexempt status, requiring flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing continuously, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, lifting, and frequently handling hot liquids, exposure to heat, cold environments, and stock movement involving weights up to 50 pounds.

Additional responsibilities include addressing customer or employee complaints by reporting them to the MOD promptly and assisting with other job-related duties as assigned. The work environment is energetic, demanding multitasking skills, effective communication, and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to perform continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Adherence to sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as grill and food preparation stations

Job Duties

  • Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards
