Currently, HMC is seeking to fill the position of Cook at Travelodge/Penny’s Diner located in Santa Teresa, NM. This role can be either part-time or full-time, with the essential requirement that candidates be available to work on weekends. The Cook position involves preparing all banquet items as outlined by function sheets, efficiently managing food orders from the restaurant, and ensuring proper stocking of line items for the menu. The cook will also supervise the dishwasher to maintain an appropriate supply of utensils for guests, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times, and produce breakfast offerings. This role requires collaboration with the Executive Chef and General Manager, accommodating additional duties as necessary to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Job Requirements
- Must have food handler's permit
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Training in food preparation desirable
- Must be able to work PM shift
- One year food preparation experience highly desirable
- Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality
