The role available is that of a Culinary Assistant Manager, a critical position that supports the Culinary Manager in coordinating kitchen activities and maintaining smooth kitchen operations. This leadership role involves preparing and cooking a broad range of meals, ensuring that special dietary requirements are fully accommodated, and ensuring the kitchen team is aligned on safety and hygiene practices. The assistant manager acts as a reliable stand-in for the Culinary Manager when needed, taking charge of daily kitchen functions and helping to maintain the highest standards of quality and service. Collaboration with the wait staff and other restaurant team members is essential to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Throughout the day, the assistant manager handles diverse responsibilities from meal preparation to equipment maintenance and customer interaction, all while supervising kitchen staff and supporting special event planning. Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals to customers
  • provide for special dietary requirements
  • collaborate with Culinary Manager on menu selection and event planning
  • ensure kitchen and dining staff adhere to safe handling and hygiene procedures
  • attend regulatory compliance training
  • coordinate with wait staff to meet customer needs and kitchen demand
