In addition to cooking, the role includes arranging, garnishing, and portioning food according to established presentation guidelines, ensuring the food served is both visually appealing and delicious.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and cooking methods
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment

- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
