The Cook plays a pivotal role in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, contributing to a clean and orderly kitchen environment. Beyond cooking, this role involves inventory management and ordering supplies, as well as providing excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests.

At HCSG, the Cook position offers a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour and includes a variety of benefits such as free telemedicine services, prescription discount programs, employee assistance programs, financial wellness support, and career development opportunities. Employees also benefit from paid time off options and access to training and support to enhance skills and career growth. HCSG values diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, fostering a culturally inclusive workplace where all employees can bring their authentic selves to work.

This position requires compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and performing routine tasks continuously while working around food and cleaning products. The Cook must possess or be willing to obtain current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as mandated by state or county laws. Residency within the service area is also required to ensure effective team integration and community engagement.

Joining HCSG as a Cook means becoming part of a dedicated team focused on delivering outstanding foodservice that supports the health and wellbeing of residents.
