The hourly pay for this role ranges from $18.00 to $19.00, with shifts varying to include days, hours, weekends, and holidays, accommodating flexibility in scheduling.

As a Cook at Sodexo, you will be responsible for preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items during all meal periods and events, adhering strictly to Sodexo’s culinary standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. This role demands a dedication to safe food handling practices and sanitation while maintaining an organized and clean workstation. The Cook is essential in contributing to an exceptional dining experience by ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and accurately. Duties will include following recipes and product direction, tasting food, estimating production needs, and helping maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
