We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. This role is nonexempt and reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD), who provides immediate supervision. The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging food products in accordance with company standards and operational guidelines. The position involves working at various stations such as the dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep areas. Our Cook must maintain strict compliance with all company policies, ensure food safety through regular cleaning and sanitation of equipment and workspaces, and demonstrate reliability through regular attendance. This role demands physical stamina, as it includes continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting, often in a restaurant environment with exposure to heat, hot liquids, freezer conditions, and occasionally extreme weather depending on the workspace. Shift work includes irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring flexibility and dedication. Job Duties
- Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards
- Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease pursuant to operational standards
- Ensure regular attendance
- Report customer or employee complaints or issues to MOD
- Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
