Located at Osceola Regional Medical Center, Sodexo seeks a part-time Cook to join their dynamic team. This role offers an hourly wage of $19.00 to $19.50 and includes working varied schedules during mornings, afternoons, evenings, with some weekends and holiday shifts, allowing for flexibility. As a Cook at Sodexo, you will be entrusted with preparing and presenting high-quality food items that meet Sodexo’s culinary standards for taste, appearance, and consistency. Working within a fast-paced healthcare kitchen setting, you will prepare hot and cold dishes, ensuring compliance with current federal, state, and corporate food safety standards. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong work ethic, as you help provide nourishing meals that support the health and wellbeing of patients and staff alike.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond food preparation to include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation standards, assisting with inventory and supply requisitions, and collaborating effectively with kitchen team members. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and safely lift weights up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will learn to follow recipes independently, season food appropriately, and contribute to a positive dining experience for all clients served.
