In this role, you will join the culinary team as a Cook, playing an essential part within the facility's food services department. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid food handler's permit if required by state or county
  • Prior experience in institutional or therapeutic cooking preferred
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and menu preparation
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and food safety practices
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Possession of a food handler's permit if required by state or county regulations
  • Training in food preparation for therapeutic diets
  • Recent institutional cooking experience or exposure to special function cooking is desirable
  • Familiarity with all H.A.C.C.P. and food safety guidelines
  • Flexibility in working weekdays, weekends, evenings, or night shifts to meet deadlines

Job Duties
