Job Description
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading provider of hospitality services and foodservice management solutions dedicated to making a positive impact in healthcare environments. With a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients, HCSG partners with long-term care facilities, hospitals, and senior living communities across the United States to deliver exceptional food and culinary experiences. The company's innovative approach emphasizes nutritional excellence, operational efficiency, and compassionate customer service, making it an employer of choice in the healthcare foodservice industry.
HCSG is seeking a talented and dedicated Cook to join their team at a long-term care facility. This role is instrumental in preparing and cooking nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet the specific dietary needs of residents. As a Cook with HCSG, you will follow planned menus and standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality, flavor, and presentation of food. You will also adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. As part of the role, you will assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
The position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from USD $22.00 to USD $26.00 per hour, reflecting experience, qualifications, and facility needs. HCSG fosters professional growth by providing hands-on training, career development opportunities, and ongoing support to ensure employee success. The organization values a positive workplace culture, where team members are encouraged to excel in their roles and contribute to a mission of caring and hospitality.
Employees enjoy an impressive benefits package that includes free telemedicine services, a free prescription discount program, employee assistance programs, financial wellness support via PNC, and the flexibility of PNC EarnedIt, which allows access to earned wages when needed. Additional benefits encompass workplace banking options and comprehensive career development resources. Applicants are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work in a diverse, inclusive environment that promotes equal opportunity and mutual respect.
The Cook role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with a variety of food and cleaning products. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain certification such as ServSafe or Food Handler certification, as required by local laws, and be compliant with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Residency within the service area is also necessary to best serve the facility's demographic and community needs.
Joining HCSG as a Cook means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to making a meaningful difference through nutritious meal preparation, excellent service, and a commitment to health and safety standards. If you are looking for a supportive, engaging workplace where you can develop your culinary skills and contribute to a caring community, HCSG is the right place for you. Apply today and help deliver delicious meals that enhance the lives of residents and guests at our long-term care facility.
