  • Minimum one year prep or line cook experience
  • DOH accreditation or Safe Serve certification
  • Ability to work in high stress, fast paced environments
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Contributes positively to the team environment
  • Understands and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen processes
  • Prepares, cooks and assembles all food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • Works closely with front of house teammates to ensure accurate and efficient food orders within 10 minutes
  • Prepares ingredients for peak trade and meets 10-minute ticket times
  • Builds relationships and communicates effectively with back and front of house teams
  • Stores food properly, labels with date and item, follows food hygiene regulations
  • Plans food production to preserve excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
  • Receives and unpacks kitchen and food deliveries
  • Maintains clean and hygienic workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Closes kitchen properly following closing procedures
  • Reports equipment and food quality issues timely
  • Maintains grooming and uniform guidelines
