As a Cook at Red Lobster, you will be responsible for ensuring the preparation stations and line are properly set up and stocked each day. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils is a key part of the job. You will be expected to verify the quality and freshness of ingredients, prepare, season, and cook food items according to recipes and specified portion controls, and adhere to safe and sanitary food handling practices throughout the kitchen. The role requires flexibility to fill in or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during high-volume periods. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds safely, with standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts and working collaboratively in a detail-oriented and multitasking team environment. Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils

  • Inspect food prep and service areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
