Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work early morning shifts starting as early as 6am
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience is preferred
  • strong understanding of food safety practices
  • team player with a passion for culinary arts
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, steam tables
  • attention to detail in cooking and portion control
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
  • ensure the kitchen meets health and safety regulations
  • collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • perform all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications
  • properly use all kitchen equipment and ensure safe use
  • maintain and restock food line items continuously
  • complete assigned cleaning functions during shift
  • notify supervisor of safety hazards and customer complaints
  • ensure proper food handling and storage
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • perform other duties as assigned
