Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one year experience as a cook
- may substitute culinary school enrollment or graduation for experience
- none required for licenses and certifications
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and food preparation
- flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
- commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one year experience as a cook or equivalent experience
- currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited culinary school may substitute for experience
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions closely
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals
- interpret recipes accurately
