Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred
2 to 5 years of experience on a fast-paced line cooking all stations
Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining food safety standards
Basic proficiency in English
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
Willingness to follow company safety protocols and use PPE
Strong multitasking and communication skills

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of food safety procedures
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Basic English communication skills
Spanish communication skills a plus
Ability to follow detailed recipes and food preparation guidelines

Job Duties

Manage all aspects of assigned cooking stations including setup, stocking, cooking and presenting dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
Use only fresh, high-quality ingredients in meal preparation
Follow recipe instructions displayed on monitors during preparation and cooking processes
Adhere to food safety procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and tools throughout the kitchen
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Alert chef team immediately of any product, equipment, or food safety concerns
Demonstrate guest-focused multitasking abilities
Communicate effectively in basic English, Spanish a plus
Build respectful and trusting relationships with team members
Create a fun and collaborative work environment
