Job Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- Effective communication skills
- Team player attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or formal culinary education preferred
- Knowledge of food service and food safety
- Experience in cooking and meal preparation in a facility setting preferred
- ServSafe Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food for meals and special functions
- Assemble patient and staff trays
- Manage salad and dessert bars
- Serve food to patients, staff, and guests
- Perform cleaning, stocking, and maintenance duties
- Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met
- Remove trash as assigned
