Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years food preparation experience
- Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, steam cookers, meat slicer, deep fat fryer, and grill
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic writing and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow standardized recipes
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum two years of food preparation experience
- Experience in high-volume food preparation preferred
- Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Basic math skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and instructions of the executive chef or sous chef
- Operate kitchen equipment including oven, steam cookers, meat slicer, deep fat fryer, and grill
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed
- Assist in menu preparation and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation
- Monitor food inventory and report shortages
- Collaborate with kitchen team to meet high-volume food preparation demands
