Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
- Manual dexterity
- Auditory and visual skills
- Supports the Mission, Values, and Vision of Cheeseburger Restaurants
- Supports, cooperates with, and implements safety and quality assurance procedures
- Cooperates and works with co-workers with minimal supervisory direction
- Uses tactful, appropriate communications
- Follows up with Manager-on-Duty regarding complaints and concerns
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Proper use of safety cut gloves and safety goggles during kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in related food service positions preferred
- Moderate reading and writing skills
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Prepare or direct preparation of food served using Company established production procedures and systems
- Comply with Company established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
- Store food properly and safely, marking date and item
- Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to the Manager-on-Duty
- Correctly prepare all food served following Company standard recipes
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved
- Apportion food for serving
- Maintain daily production records
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times
- Clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation
- Complete food temperature checks before service
- Perform supportive tasks as assigned
- Prepare and serve food for special functions as assigned
