  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • minimum 2 years cooking experience
  • strong knowledge of nutrition, health, and safety standards
  • experience ordering from food service vendors
  • experience preparing food for large groups
  • ability to build and maintain positive relationships

Job Duties

  • Prepare and portion meals alongside the Chef to support both students and staff
  • follow menu plans and dietary guidelines provided by the Dietitian to ensure consistency and nutrition
  • assist with prepping ingredients and meals in advance for weekends
  • help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • bring warmth and positivity to the dining experience
  • step in for additional hours as needed during busy times
  • assist with ordering food supplies from vendors
