The role of Cook 1 at Invited is tailored for individuals eager to join a professional kitchen environment where learning, precision, and teamwork are paramount. As an entry-level cook, you will be entrusted with the fundamental tasks of setting up, preparing, and organizing your workstation under the supervision of more experienced cooks. The position demands a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, proper food storage, and supporting the kitchen team in daily food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with Cook 2 and Cook 3 team members and report directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef.

From handling daily prep tasks to managing condiments, dressings, and soups, your efforts directly contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen and overall member satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to high school diploma
  • at least 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • valid food handler certification as per state or city regulations
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capability to work in diverse temperatures and environments
  • able to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, twist, bend
  • ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • effective communication skills
  • sufficient visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of kitchen experience preferred
  • valid Food Handler Certifications as required by local regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties
