The role of Construction Manager at Dennis Group is critical, serving as the on-site project supervisor responsible for overseeing daily construction operations. This full-time, on-site position, located primarily in Manchester, NH, involves significant travel—up to 100%—to various project locations throughout the United States and possibly Canada. The work schedule follows a 10 days on-site, 4 days off rotation, accommodating projects that typically last from six months to over a year.

As a Construction Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage site safety programs, oversee project schedules, and control budgets to ensure the successful completion of industrial food and beverage processing facilities. The job demands strong technical skills in construction management software and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including owners, subcontractors, engineers, and architects. Daily tasks include contract administration, project planning, reporting, and advisory roles to project management teams. You will also supervise assigned field engineers or junior construction managers when necessary.

This role involves detailed oversight of medium-sized projects, requiring autonomy and proactiveness. Responsibilities include budgeting, cost management, establishing site safety procedures, overseeing equipment installations, regulatory administration, change order management, and coordinating inspections. The Construction Manager is also instrumental in ensuring compliance with schedules and preparing project reports.
