The role of Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager at Alliance Mobile is a dynamic, field-based position focused on driving revenue through AT&T’s Connected Communities (ACC) program and Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) properties. This position requires a highly motivated sales professional based in the Orlando, FL area with a flair for building strong relationships and thriving in non-traditional sales environments. The manager will be responsible for generating new subscriber activations by engaging with residents in ACC and MDU properties, and leading the market’s events strategy to maximize sales outside of traditional retail settings.

This role reports to the Market Director and involves close collaboration with AT&T Connected Communities Account Managers, retail store teams, and AT&T’s New AT&T Customer (NAC) Call Center. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-driven, and skilled at promoting wireless, fiber internet, and streaming services through face-to-face and event-based interactions. The position offers a base salary of $70,000 annually with an additional commission-based pay structure, allowing for a total compensation opportunity of approximately 25% at-risk based on performance. This is a 100% remote role requiring daily travel around the Orlando market, necessitating a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver credentials.

The Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager will perform a range of responsibilities from executing property visits and resident events to managing a robust sales pipeline and coordinating with retail store associates for onsite activations. Events leadership is a key function of this role, responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing off-site sales events at non-traditional high-traffic venues such as community centers, corporate campuses, and local markets. The manager will track and report event performance metrics, identify new event opportunities, and drive incremental sales beyond the confines of the retail store.

In addition to sales duties, the role entails weekly and monthly reporting of performance metrics, active participation in AT&T training programs, and maintaining proactive communication with the Market Director. The Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager role is well-suited for someone with proven sales skills, exceptional customer service abilities, strong organizational capabilities, and the agility to manage a demanding, mobile work schedule with flexibility including evenings and weekends. Job Requirements

  • Must be located in the Orlando, FL area
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel daily for business purposes
  • Must successfully complete background check, driver’s license check, and substance abuse testing
  • Experience in sales or retail environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-activity schedules
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be motivated and self-driven

Job Duties

  • Prospect and engage new and existing residents at ACC properties and multi-dwelling units
  • Execute a minimum of 20 property visits and 2 onsite resident events per week
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and transfer prospects to the AT&T NAC Call Center
  • Conduct daily follow-up calls with prospects and current customers
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with AT&T Connected Communities Account Managers and property ownership
  • Serve as the Events Lead by planning and executing off-site sales events
  • Track event performance and report results including activations and leads generated
