Job Description
Ken Garff Automotive Group stands as a distinguished name in the automotive industry, proudly marking its legacy since its founding in 1932 by Ken Garff. As a family-owned and operated business, it has expanded remarkably, encompassing multiple dealerships and automotive services across the United States. Known for its commitment to dealership excellence, customer satisfaction, and innovative business practices, Ken Garff Automotive Group is not your standard dealership—it is an organization driven by core values that uphold respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. This dedication is evident in its workplace culture, where employees are valued, listened to, and empowered to be a vital part of the company's ongoing evolution and success.
American Fork Ford, a key dealership under the Ken Garff umbrella, is currently seeking to hire a Concierge (Sales Lot Attendant) who will contribute positively to the team and embody the company’s values. This role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operations of the dealership’s vehicle lot, directly impacting the dealership's appearance and customer experience. The Concierge acts as an essential support figure by managing vehicle arrangements, maintenance status, and ensuring that all cars on the lot meet quality standards. As the face of lot organization and mobility, the role demands high precision, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $16 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plans with company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off options such as wellness days, holidays, and personal purpose days. The role is classified as full-time, requiring availability from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and includes one scheduled weekday off. Individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and seek career growth opportunities within sales and service departments will find this role both rewarding and fulfilling.
The Concierge at American Fork Ford must be a careful, unselfish, approachable, and analytical worker who takes the time to build trust and respect authority. The ideal candidate demonstrates a keen eye for detail and accuracy in tasks such as comparing vehicle serial numbers against invoices, inspecting new and used vehicles for damages, and managing vehicle keys efficiently. Additionally, the role involves routine tasks like washing and fueling cars, maintaining the lot’s neatness, and undertaking any other assignments that support the operational effectiveness of the dealership.
Joining Ken Garff Automotive Group means stepping into a company where the people far surpass the physical assets—where listening is not just an action but a fundamental core of the company culture. Employees are empowered to bring energy, dedication, and a customer-focused mindset to their roles, helping to redefine what it means to work in automotive retail. The organization invests in its workforce by offering broad-ranging benefits, a welcoming environment, and numerous pathways for career advancement. Here, one’s contribution helps shape the future of an industry while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care.
