Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living's Cascade community is currently seeking a Concierge to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for residents, their families, potential residents, and visitors. This role is pivotal in shaping first impressions of the community, offering exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. The Concierge will play an essential role in assisting with recruitment efforts, managing communications, and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the community.

The Concierge position at Sunrise Senior Living is full-time and offers competitive compensation alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include greeting visitors with a warm welcome, managing phone calls efficiently, providing community information, and assisting with resident move-in and marketing tasks. Additionally, the Concierge will assist in maintaining a pleasant atmosphere in key areas such as the Bistro and front desk, monitor safety protocols, and support risk management efforts to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Administrative duties, such as maintaining logs, managing mail, and supporting payroll processes, are also integral to the role.

As part of the Sunrise team, the Concierge will engage actively in team meetings, training, and continuous development programs. They will be involved in resident safety procedures, emergency response, and community engagement initiatives that uphold Sunrise’s high service standards. This role is not only administrative but deeply rooted in serving others, requiring the ability to build meaningful relationships and demonstrate empathy and attentiveness.

Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • proven customer service experience
  • proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • ability to learn new software quickly
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to maintain accurate records
  • willingness to follow safety procedures including use of PPE
  • ability to handle multiple priorities
  • teamwork and reliability
  • compliance with pre-employment screenings and health evaluations as required
  • valid driver's license if driving company vehicle is necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • proven customer service experience and skills
  • proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications

  • good judgment problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
  • familiarity with safety procedures and risk management practices
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors and guests extending a warm welcome
  • manage external and internal calls answering promptly with appropriate greetings
  • take and communicate complete messages with pertinent information
  • provide community overviews and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • assist Director of Sales and Executive Director with inquiries and recruitment process
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support resident move-in and administrative processes
  • keep front desk and Bistro areas clean organized and pleasant
  • monitor safety protocols and community compliance with health and safety regulations
  • maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency contact lists
  • respond to emergencies according to policy
  • manage guest and resident sign-in and sign-out procedures
  • perform general administrative duties including data entry mail distribution and meal ticket processing
  • participate in team meetings training and engagement activities
  • assist with recruitment data entry and office supply monitoring
  • maintain positive, professional relationships with residents families and team members
