The Concierge position at MorningStar Senior Living in Phoenix is a part-time role with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. This role is crucial in maintaining the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that residents and their families have come to expect. The position follows a specific evening shift schedule from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. As a concierge, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and residents, offering assistance with directions, answering telephone inquiries promptly and courteously, and ensuring smooth communication within the community. Core responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, handling mail and office correspondence, managing telephone calls, and supporting administrative tasks such as filing and typing. The Concierge is also responsible for adhering to resident rights and company policies, ensuring confidentiality, and demonstrating genuine kindness and compassion towards residents and families at all times. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of relevant front desk or reception experience preferred
  • proficiency in typing and office equipment
  • knowledge of resident rights and confidentiality policies
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work evening shifts as scheduled
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstration of core values including love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
  • at least one year of front desk or reception related experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • knowledge of typing, filing, use of office equipment, telephone systems, intercommunication systems
  • understanding of resident rights and confidentiality
  • ability to meet deadlines, organize, and prioritize workload
  • friendly, courteous, patient, and understanding demeanor
  • ability to work well with staff, residents, and families

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, families, residents
