Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of relevant front desk or reception experience preferred
  • proficiency in typing and office equipment
  • knowledge of resident rights and confidentiality policies
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work evening shifts as scheduled
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstration of core values including love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
  • at least one year of front desk or reception related experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • knowledge of typing, filing, use of office equipment, telephone systems, intercommunication systems
  • understanding of resident rights and confidentiality
  • ability to meet deadlines, organize, and prioritize workload
  • friendly, courteous, patient, and understanding demeanor
  • ability to work well with staff, residents, and families

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, families, residents
  • answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
  • provide non-confidential information
  • sort and distribute mail
  • type and file correspondence and other documents
  • adhere to and interpret resident's rights and personnel policies
  • operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, and postage machines
  • express concern and compassion for residents and families
  • escort visitors to resident suites and other areas as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
