This role is based in Barberton, OH, where the officer will serve in prominent environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The employment type is full-time, with a set schedule from Monday through Friday, first shift hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Offering a competitive hourly wage of $16.35, GardaWorld also provides DailyPay options to support financial flexibility for employees.
As a Concierge Security Officer, the successful candidate will be the frontline ambassador for the company, tasked with ensuring the safety and security of individuals, property, and premises while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. This position places a significant emphasis on customer interaction, requiring natural engagement skills that make visitors feel reassured and comfortable. Officers handle access control, visitor verification, and escort duties as part of their daily routine. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
- authorization to work in the U.S.
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand or walk for long periods
- good physical condition
- availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- be authorized to work in the U.S.
- be able to provide documentation of high school diploma or GED
- be able to ace and pass an extensive screening process
- exceptional customer service skills
- proficient in basic phone and computer skills
- security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
- you have a state license if required
