The current employment opportunity is for an Unarmed Security Officer, who will serve as a vital part of Inter-Con’s security team. This role involves protecting critical facilities, public venues, and infrastructure by providing a visible and effective security presence. The Unarmed Security Officer covers multiple posts such as customer counters, employee entrances, vehicle checkpoints, guard houses, gates, construction zones, parking areas, and perimeter fences. Responsibilities include screening personnel and vehicles, verifying identification badges and clearance, managing temporary badge processes, and conducting roving patrols on foot or by vehicle. Officers are involved in monitoring CCTV systems, operating X-ray machines, identifying fire hazards, detecting unauthorized activities, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the premises.

This position demands physical stamina, as emergency duties may require prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts, stair climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and running when necessary.
