Job Description
GardaWorld Security Services is a prominent global leader in sophisticated and tailored security solutions, recognized for employing and training highly skilled and dedicated professionals worldwide. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, GardaWorld provides a broad spectrum of security services designed to meet the unique needs of clients across diverse sectors. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, reflected in its status as the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work. GardaWorld is known not only for its top-tier security services but also for its impactful career growth opportunities, where a significant portion of corporate employees began their journeys as frontline workers, embodying the company's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to employee development.
Now hiring, GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer for their Cleveland, OH location. This full-time role operates on a set schedule with shifts from Tuesday through Friday, including a split shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hourly wage offered is competitive, at $17.00 per hour, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability for employees. This position places a strong emphasis on customer service, as the Concierge Security Officer is the frontline representative working in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The core of this role is not only maintaining a secure environment but also building meaningful connections with visitors and occupants. Officers must demonstrate a natural ability to engage effectively with others, providing reassurance and inspiring confidence through their presence and communication skills.
In this capacity, the Concierge Security Officer undertakes a variety of critical responsibilities that blend security protocols with hospitality and customer service. Duties include welcoming visitors, verifying identities, guiding guests, managing access control, and conducting regular security patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks. Officers are also tasked with inspecting security equipment and addressing maintenance concerns. Preparedness to respond to incidents is vital, including providing first aid and coordinating with emergency response teams when necessary. The role requires clear and precise communication, both verbally and in written reports, ensuring that security concerns and incidents are documented and conveyed appropriately.
GardaWorld offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, supporting the professional image and readiness of its staff. The company's commitment to equal employment opportunities and nondiscrimination is a cornerstone of its workplace culture, ensuring fair treatment and inclusivity for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals authorized to work in the U.S. who possess exceptional customer service skills, basic phone and computer proficiency, and the ability to pass a thorough screening process. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is highly regarded, as is holding a state license if required. GardaWorld Security Services invites ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded candidates to apply and potentially embark on a rewarding career path as a GardaWorld Ambassador. If this role is not the perfect match, candidates are encouraged to explore other available positions in tactical, surveillance, and casual roles within the company. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening following a job offer.
