The role of Concierge Representative at Equinox is critical to maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that define the brand. As a Concierge Rep, you will be the primary point of contact for member and guest inquiries across the Equinox club network. This is a multifaceted customer service position that involves handling communications through multiple channels including phone, email, text (SMS), social media, and chat. Your ability to manage inquiries effectively, resolve complaints, and provide a seamless experience will directly impact member satisfaction and retention.

A successful Concierge Representative demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness. You will handle a variety of member and guest requests, ranging from information about club amenities and group fitness schedules to managing membership issues such as cancellations, freezes, or transfers. Part of your responsibilities will also include outbound communications and participation in targeted concierge campaigns aimed at member engagement and retention. Additionally, you will have opportunities to enhance sales through upselling membership upgrades or ancillary services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple communication channels effectively
  • Customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and MotionSoft preferred
  • Legal right to work in the United States

  • Experience with Equinox brand preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and MotionSoft preferred

  • High school diploma required

Job Duties

  • Managing inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, SMS, chats, and social media inquiries from members, leads, and guests
  • Handling all member and guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Attempting to resolve all member complaints or concerns without escalating the case to an Equinox club
  • Assisting members and guests with all incoming inquiries such as club amenities, hours of operation, club staff, in-house events, ancillary businesses, and group fitness
  • Participating in concierge campaigns including outbound contact and member outreach
  • Saving members from cancelling by reselling membership, converting to freeze, or transferring membership
  • Abiding by all Equinox policies and procedures and escalating urgent cases appropriately
  • Achieving personal and team response goals and save/sales goals when applicable
  • Completing all wrap-up work in a timely manner
  • Seizing opportunities to upsell membership upgrades and ancillary sales
  • Working with specific populations of members or external brand representatives when assigned
