Job Description
Rolling Green Village is a distinguished not-for-profit retirement community with a well-established 35-year track record of excellence in senior living and care. Renowned for its commitment to quality, the community proudly holds a 5-star nursing home rating, reflecting its dedication to superior healthcare standards and compassionate resident services. Located in a serene and supportive environment, Rolling Green Village combines professional healthcare, hospitality, and community engagement to ensure that residents enjoy a comfortable, safe, and fulfilling lifestyle. The community not only offers exceptional nursing care but also prioritizes creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents, their families, and visitors alike.
We are currently seeking a hospitality-minded, part-time Concierge to join our dynamic team at the Front Desk. This position is PRN (pro re nata), meaning it operates on an as-needed basis, with availability required for some evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is essential in reinforcing the community’s reputation for outstanding service through excellent communication, organization, and customer care skills. The successful candidate will provide a pivotal service by managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, acting as both a helpful point of contact for residents and guests, and a reliable support to staff and administration.
The Concierge will be responsible for opening and closing the concierge desk, ensuring that all files, keys, and equipment are properly secured at all times. The role also involves answering incoming calls directed to the Front Desk via an interactive voice response system (IVR), assisting residents with various requests including copying, faxing, and mail services. Furthermore, the Concierge will manage the ordering of supplies essential to Front Desk operations and assist the Executive Assistant with additional administrative duties as assigned. A person-centered approach and a courteous, friendly attitude are paramount, fostering an environment of trust and comfort for residents and visitors.
This position offers competitive pay at $14.50 per hour and is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in hospitality roles within healthcare settings. It also allows for flexibility in scheduling, ideal for those who are available during special shifts, including holidays and weekend hours. Candidates who join Rolling Green Village gain more than just a job; they join a committed team dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults in a supportive community.
Our organization values our employees and offers a comprehensive package of benefits that includes access to a community fitness center at no cost, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition assistance, referral bonuses, and a 403b retirement plan. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full-time employees, while both full-time and part-time team members are eligible for paid time off and recognition programs such as quarterly attendance awards. We encourage candidates with a passion for hospitality and community service to apply online or in person and become part of a team renowned for service excellence and caring support.
