The Executive Suite and Club Box Concierge role is a vital position within the Memphis Grizzlies organization that directly supports the premium guest experience during games and special events at FedExForum. This role is specifically responsible for frontline service to guests seated in the Executive Suites and Club Boxes, including VIP guests. The Concierge is tasked with greeting guests, addressing and fulfilling their requests, and solving any problems that may arise promptly and professionally during events. One of the key responsibilities involves monitoring and controlling access to the Executive Suite levels and other premium areas to maintain security and exclusivity. This position requires someone who remains calm under pressure, is proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills to engage comfortably with high-profile guests in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

In this role, the Concierge not only ensures that every guest is greeted warmly and that the first impression standards of the Memphis Grizzlies and FedExForum are upheld but also prioritizes strong guest relationships to guarantee premium seat clients receive top-notch service. They are expected to learn the arena layout thoroughly to assist guests efficiently and respond to inquiries and suggestions quickly. The Concierge operates the concierge desk, handling guest telephone lines and radio communications, verifying tickets, and redirecting guests as needed. Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times is essential to preserve the brand's esteemed reputation.

This position also involves coordinating with various internal and external partners, including food and beverage staff, security, housekeeping, and ticketing services, to address any maintenance or service issues instantly. Participation in special events and promotional activities for premium seat clients is another aspect of the role. Those in this role are expected to provide management with summaries of activities at the end of each shift, ensuring an organized and communicative workflow. Working in this role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with event schedules. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • three or more years of concierge, hospitality, or service-related experience
  • availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to engage professionally with guests and VIPs
  • energetic and self-motivated attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • three or more years of concierge, hospitality, or service-related experience with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
  • strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests upon arrival and ensure first impression standards are met
  • prioritize customer satisfaction by building strong guest relationships and ensuring premium seat clients receive top-quality service
  • learn and understand the layout of FedExForum and direct guests to proper areas of the arena when assistance is needed
  • service and fulfill individual requests with expedience and care
  • respond to all incoming inquiries, suggestions and concerns from guests
  • interact with Executive Suite and Club Box guests to ensure concerns are addressed and suggestions are taken
  • advise and immediately follow up with maintenance, housekeeping, security and any reported problems or concerns
  • operate and manage the concierge desk including answering guest services/concierge telephone lines, redirecting guests, checking tickets for access and using radio communications
  • provide management with a brief activity recap at the end of each shift
  • participate in special events and promotional activities for Premium Seat clients when required
  • supervise, maintain and roam designated concierge station during scheduled event time
  • accept additional event responsibilities on rotation, including liaising with partners and attending pre- and post-event briefings
  • maintain a positive, professional and guest-first presence at all times
