We are currently seeking a Concierge to join our team at Discovery Senior Living. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing telephone communications, and providing essential information. The Concierge serves as the community's first point of contact, ensuring that visitors and residents receive attentive and professional service. Responsibilities include answering phones, taking detailed messages, maintaining logs and databases, coordinating appointments, and supporting administrative tasks such as meal ticket preparation and mail distribution. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the residents' experience.
The position operates part-time with scheduled shifts from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, including working every other weekend. This schedule offers flexibility while playing a key part in the ongoing operations of the community. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- Greets residents and visitors, answers inquiries and gives directions
- Collates brochures for the marketing department
- Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the dining staff
- Updates the resident phone list and roster and move-in and move-out register daily
- Guest and sign-in logs as necessary
- Manages appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- Organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
- Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
