Job Description
Spectrum Retirement Communities is a compassionate and dedicated organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by fostering an environment of independence and fearless aging. Known for their exceptional commitment to care, the community prides itself on creating a supportive and engaging atmosphere where residents can thrive. Spectrum Retirement Communities operates with a philosophy of living without limits, where each story is valued and shared, reflecting their core values of empathy, hard work, and joy. As a forward-thinking company in the retirement living sector, Spectrum continuously seeks to hire individuals who embody the same caring and dedicated spirit to join their team, making a meaningful contribution to the lives of the elderly and their families.
The Front Desk Customer Service Representative at Spectrum Retirement Communities plays a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for residents, visitors, and team members. This part-time position offers a competitive starting wage of $16 per hour, with pay commensurate to experience, and requires availability on weekends specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 7 pm. The role’s primary responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors warmly, answering phone calls accurately, responding to resident and family inquiries, and handling emergency situations promptly and effectively. Additionally, the representative ensures the front lobby and entrance areas remain clean and inviting, contributing to the positive first impressions and overall environment of the community.
This job is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and professional, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with strong communication skills. Experience in an office setting, particularly involving customer service or telephone interactions, is preferred. Furthermore, technology proficiency is important to effectively manage administrative responsibilities. Spectrum Retirement Communities values team members who can foster a friendly, helpful atmosphere, enhance resident satisfaction through responsiveness and attention to detail, and effectively collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders including current and prospective residents, family members, and staff.
While this is a part-time role, it offers access to a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, alongside other voluntary insurance options. Both part-time and full-time employees are eligible for participation in a 401(k) plan, paid time off, holiday pay, Daily Pay, and special discounts through Perk Spot. Spectrum Retirement Communities promotes equality and diversity, emphasizing non-discrimination in all employment practices, and encourages vaccination against COVID-19, though it is not mandatory. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the E-verify program to ensure lawful employment practices.
