Job Description
Our community is a well-established residential facility dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for its residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Concierge to join our team. The Concierge plays a crucial role in our community by serving as the first point of contact for residents, guests, staff, and vendors. This position requires an individual who is courteous, attentive, and able to multitask efficiently. The Concierge will be responsible for answering and transferring incoming calls in a professional manner, providing information, directions, and assistance as needed. In addition to managing communications, the Concierge performs a variety of clerical duties and helps maintain the security of the community. The role involves opening and closing the front desk, securing files, keys, and equipment, as well as handling payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations.
An integral part of the job is to maintain clear and prompt communication with the appropriate parties regarding messages and materials directed through the business office. The Concierge is expected to greet and assist all persons entering the community with tact and friendliness, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment. Responsibilities also include confirming transportation and event registrations, distributing mail and packages, and overseeing the security of the community with the authority to notify supervisors or emergency services as needed.
This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and basic computer skills, including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office software. The successful candidate must be capable of handling multiple routine tasks following specific and general instructions carefully. The role involves a mix of sitting, standing, bending, and requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, operate business equipment, and maintain mental and visual focus despite distractions. The work environment demands excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with a diverse range of individuals. Job Duties
- Answer and transfer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
