The Concierge role at Ivy Park at Alta Loma is a vital position focused on providing outstanding customer service and administrative support. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and guests, ensuring all interactions are welcoming and professional. This position involves greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, managing multi-line telephone systems, and offering clerical assistance to administrative staff. Additionally, the Concierge is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the community by monitoring the Emergency Alert System and quickly responding to calls. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ivy Park's Concierge position operates on an on-call basis across all shifts, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $18.00. Job Requirements

  • require two years of experience in hospitality or senior living
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficient in computer use including MS Office
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to pass background check and health screenings
  • comply with vaccination and PPE policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • comply with vaccination and PPE requirements per company health and safety policies

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
  • effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
