Job Description
This opportunity is with a well-established community leadership team that focuses on providing an exceptional environment, especially dedicated to serving the geriatric population. The community prides itself on its core values, including caring about people, doing the right thing, being passionate, respectful, and taking ownership to add value. The community works hard to maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, ensuring residents and visitors feel welcome and valued. The company fosters a culture that encourages speaking up and celebrating success, reinforcing an environment where teamwork and respect are paramount. The team also emphasizes the importance of integrity and enthusiasm in all aspects of their work.
The Concierge position is essential to the overall experience for guests, visitors, vendors, and residents. Serving as the front-of-house representative, the Concierge acts as the first point of contact, making a positive first impression with a courteous and professional demeanor. This role supports the Community Leadership Team by managing a variety of administrative activities that keep the operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, assisting visitors in locating resident rooms, managing telephone communications, and handling various clerical duties such as typing memos, sorting mail, and maintaining admission and information packets.
This part-time role requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a pay range of $14.75 to $17.50 per hour. Candidates should be comfortable utilizing a multi-line telephone system and should exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The role demands a level-headed approach in emergency situations and the flexibility to perform additional non-professional duties as assigned. Maintaining confidentiality and displaying tact and courtesy with staff, residents, families, and visitors are critical responsibilities.
Also serving as a Culture Ambassador, the Concierge will model and encourage the company's core values, contributing to a positive sales culture within the community. This role requires someone who is proactive, cooperative, enthusiastic, and willing to work independently with minimal supervision. The position is ideal for individuals interested in serving the geriatric community and promoting an exceptional living environment for residents through attentive and responsive service.
