Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • former experience in a similar role in a hotel setting is preferred
  • in depth knowledge of napa valley attractions and hidden gems is required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible and long hours
  • basic computer skills including proficiency with microsoft office applications is preferred
  • must be able to maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

Job Duties

  • participating in all hotel required meetings and trainings
  • maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • providing in-depth knowledge or access to information regarding directions, travel time, cost and various forms of transportation
  • maintaining a constantly updated database with extensive information about local events
  • being knowledgeable of all vip arriving guests
  • being aware of all daily events in the hotel
  • arranging tickets for various attractions as necessary
  • making and confirming dining reservations
  • making and confirming all transportation arrangements with contracted transportation agency
  • communicating all important details to management and colleagues throughout the hotel
  • disseminating information of relevance within the department
  • exhibiting strong communication skills and dealing with various types of guests
  • providing clear directions for all guests travelling outside the hotel
  • responding to all guest requests within a timely manner
  • abiding by all hotel policies and safety rules
  • performing other duties as requested by management
