The Concierge position at The Ivy at Wellington plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors. This role involves greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism, fulfilling resident requests, arranging property tours, and managing communications through multi-line telephone systems. Beyond overseeing daily interactions with residents and guests, the Concierge provides vital clerical support to the administrative staff, ensuring seamless operation and fostering a welcoming environment aligned with Oakmont’s mission and values.
This role is especially suited for individuals with a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, effective communication skills, and a cooperative team spirit. The Concierge also manages safety protocols including monitoring the Emergency Alert System and responding promptly to calls, thus contributing to a secure environment for all community members. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the business center operations, processing mail, and encouraging a collaborative workplace culture. This position offers an hourly pay range of $17.00 to $19.00, reflecting Oakmont’s dedication to competitive compensation.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 and communicable disease safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs
- Possess written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB tests
Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
- Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
- Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
- Arrange tours of the property and provide clerical support to administrative staff
