Job Description

Oakmont Gardens is a premier senior living community located at 301 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95409. With a commitment to providing an exceptional quality of life for seniors, Oakmont Gardens takes pride in fostering a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel at home and cared for. The community offers a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of its residents, promoting independence and a vibrant social atmosphere. As a respected establishment in the senior living industry, Oakmont Gardens is dedicated to excellence in service, safety, and community engagement.

The role of Concierge at Oakmont Gardens is vital to maintaining the inviting atmosphere that defines the community. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and staff, embodying the spirit of hospitality and professionalism. This part-time position, scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. It demands a friendly, organized individual who excels at multitasking and has a genuine passion for helping others. The Concierge is not just a receptionist but a key contributor to the daily operations and the overall resident experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting everyone entering the community with a warm smile and courteous demeanor, ensuring each interaction starts positively. Handling incoming phone calls efficiently and directing them appropriately is crucial, as is assisting residents with their inquiries, requests, and scheduling needs. Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and security of the front desk and lobby area supports a professional environment that reflects Oakmont Gardens' standards.

Additional responsibilities include managing visitor logs, package deliveries, and community announcements, contributing to the smooth operation of the community. The Concierge also plays an essential role in supporting event coordination, appointment scheduling, and arranging transportation services for residents. In emergencies or resident alert situations, following established protocols is critical to ensuring safety and prompt response.

General administrative support to the management team is also part of the position, requiring proficiency with basic computer systems such as Microsoft Office and email. This job suits a calm, professional individual who can handle occasional high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

Working at Oakmont Gardens means becoming part of a team that values connection, care, and fostering a strong sense of community. There are ample opportunities for growth within a supportive work environment. More importantly, as a Concierge, you have the rewarding opportunity to impact the lives of seniors and their families positively every day. If you want to be the first smile they see and the voice they remember, joining Oakmont Gardens as a Concierge could be the perfect fit for you.
