The Concierge role at Magnolia Grand is a pivotal position that contributes significantly to the community's overall atmosphere and culture. This part-time, on-call position includes night shifts from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am during weekends and holidays, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $18.90, depending on experience. As the first point of contact for residents, their families, and guests, the Concierge plays a critical role in building warm relationships, supporting multiple departments, and maintaining smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests and coordinating with sales for upcoming tours, managing incoming calls and messages, and demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills. This role requires ownership, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively despite interruptions, and a compassionate approach to representing the Magnolia Grand community professionally. Additionally, the Concierge assists with payroll processing, maintaining resident and employee files in compliance with company standards and state regulations, and managing accounts receivable and payable. They also ensure that promotional materials and move-in packets are ready and available, contributing to the community's welcoming and efficient environment. Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation and dependable to show up on time
- Ability to work part-time, on-call shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours
- Availability to work from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Must pass a background check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Commitment to upholding company values and mission
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
- Ownership attitude and ability to prioritize and stay focused despite interruptions
- Compassionate and able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests who come to the door and potentially work with sales to make sure everything is in order for an upcoming tour
- Responsible for calls that come in and delivering messages
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
- Manage, maintain and process payroll
- Assemble and maintain resident and employee files according to company standards and state regulations
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Ensure that there are adequate brochures and move-in packets ready for tours and admissions
- Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
